I currently work from home (as well as managing a part time job) illustrating and designing a wide range of content. I have previously created designed tattoos, clothing, skateboards and portraits as private work for clients I have interacted with over social media or met in person. I am a versatile young creative who will attempt any knew challenges proposed in an effort to learn new things, expand my portfolio and think of new conceptual ideas to portray through different media. I aim to transfer these experiences into a full time creative career in which I can continue to develop my skills and learn more about the creative industry.
I worked alongside founder of Art in Transit (A.IN.T) Charlie Crockett. The role I adopted for the duration of three months was graphic design intern. The role entailed a variety of different jobs from working with photoshop to combine the apparel and designs, photographing clothing products and editing pictures. This internship was a great opportunity to develop my skills using Adobe creative suite before starting my foundation course at University of the Arts London. I also gained an understanding of the different components a successful design-heavy brand is composed of. My experience was insightful to the creative industry and I was able to take away skills which helped me through further education and personal projects.
I completed a year long foundation course at the University of the Arts CCW progression centre before completing a three year long degree course in graphic and media design at the London College of Communication in Elephant and Castle. Further education has allowed me to explore different creative techniques through experimentation whilst feeding my passion to create. I have become familiar with different creative disciplines that I would not formerly considered. Furthermore, I have networked with my peer designers, gaining invaluable knowledge about the creative industries, and ultimately, myself.
