  • Assisting the F&B director of the Hotel Ritz in Paris and co-managing the Ritz Bar for the reopening of the hotel in June 2016. Main responsibilities consisted of creating an identity for the new and modern bistro/bar inside the hotel; establishing a well-functioning work environment for the employees' mobility; redefine the hospitality design and space in order to ensure a good experience for the hotel's customers; train and manage a team of 12 employees and ensure customer satisfaction; deal with daily administrative tasks: plannings, menus, events organization, constant communication with the other services.

Cartier Foundation for Contemporary Art

  • Assistant curator, assisting Ilana Shamoon and Isabelle Gaudefroy on the "Beauté Congo - 1926-2015 -Congo Kitoko" exhibited at the Cartier Foundation for Contemporary Art from the 11th of July 2015 until the 10th of January 2016. A very rewarding experience consisting of different responsibilities that requiered autonomy, flexibility and constant team work. A 6 months internship divided in 3 important duties : assisting Ilana Shammon in the selection and the acquisition of the audio-visual works presented in the exhibition, their layout and set up; assisting Isabelle Gaudefroy and work on the overall progress and program of the exhibition; work with the Nomadic Nights service on the Pan African Space Station Pop-Up, a radio project developed in collaboration with the South African revue Chimurenga, as part of the exhibition Beauté Congo.

  • Assisting Peggy Leboeuf, head of the Emmanuel Perrotin gallery space in Paris. A 6 months internship consisting in performing daily duties as assigned by the director : general administration of the gallery, coordination of events and exhibitions, help with the installation, transport and surveillance of the works, allocating display materials and removing artwork at the end of exhibits, prepare exhibition space models for art fairs and different events, attend and host events organized by the gallery, help with reading and correcting the catalogs before printing, filemaker updating information on artists and the gallery's collection, general administration of the gallery's bookstore, prepare the certificates of authenticity for the works of art and the outgoing correspondence etc.
