Work history

Photographer & Creative Director

Adrienne Pitts

Oct 2014
  • Self-employed as a travel and portrait photographer, I also continue to work as a creative director and designer on a variety of projects. I left my role as Art Director of Jamie Magazine to pursue the freelance projects which are available to me, and find it's a fantastic mixture of work.

2014

Art Director & Jamie Magazine

Jamie Oliver Magazine

Dec 2008 - Sep 2014
  • I was Art Director of Jamie Magazine for almost 7 years, taking the magazine from its infancy in Issue 2, up until its 51st issue. I'm immensely proud of the magazine we created, which won numerous awards for both its print and tablet editions. I helped nurture its growth from one UK based edition to over ten international editions, and was honoured to be named Designer of the Year in the prestigious PPA awards for my work on this title. Each page was created with an intense love of images, illustration and the written word, and I loved my time at the magazine.
