About me
I have recently graduated from the Royal Academy of Fine Arts Antwerp. This is my second university degree – several years ago I graduated from the Department of Italian Philology at the University of Warsaw. Enriched by previous academic and professional experience, I now view my artistic ventures from a wider and more mature perspective. Consequently, I am focused on taking full advantage of any opportunity for artistic development. I have perfected my design skills by working on commercial projects in cooperation with Saatchi&Saatchi Poland, and as a designer at the Warsaw-based studio, E1 Collective. Working on these projects has taught me the craft aspect of design, which I systematically support with topical literature. On the other hand, while teaching at Warsaw Film School I have developed a more free and imaginative approach to visual problems, which I employ in design. I will be grateful for this joint opportunity for creative adventure and advancing my professional prospects.

  • There’s no planet b – magazine concept
There’s no planet b – magazine conceptThe main idea was driven by dozens of schoolchildren walking out of classes to protest an ecological crisis. I have decided to show my kind of support by designing a newspaper. There’s no planet b is a magazine concept which by its spread format is a ready-made poster you can carry with at the climate strike.
  • Folio – Visual Research
Folio – Visual ResearchOne of the first tasks during classes conducted by Bas Rogiers was to design a Folio. The aim was to use typographic language as a means to convey the message of the article in the most engaging way possible. Knowing the specificity of the subject matter (journalism), as well as the ambiguity of opinions, I chose to distort the legibility of the text and the voices quoted.

Tram Drei – poster designPoster I designed for Bobby Bar’s event in Antwerp, Belgium. This project was selected and exhibited at the 26th Biennial of the Polish Poster 2019 in Katowice.
  • Athlette, A Girl Who Fell from the Banana Tree – zine
Athlette, A Girl Who Fell from the Banana Tree – zineWith a love of personal stories and a background in photography, together with talented Anke Defossé we decided to publish a photo book that bases on her family story. With her works Defossé tries to ‘season’ the space of the book, thus giving a personal touch and introducing the reader to her poignant story. The book is an attempt to minimize the misunderstanding of adults’ world. It serves as a way to protect the youngest from the bitter taste of things they are not able to grasp yet. Hence,
  • Reading in the Unwritten – graduation project
Reading in the Unwritten – graduation projectWith my graduation project, I took a closer look at the idea of mise-en-scène and Bresson’s statement who believed that we as designers or film directors, who work with art in a broad sense, should spur the audience to imagine. It’s us who encourage to fantasise rather than illustrate and serve a ready-made solution. At some point, I knew that a book would be my master project outcome. That being said I started investigating possible solutions for designing a book that leaves ample room for in
  • Everything Bur Words – thesis design and writing
Everything Bur Words – thesis design and writingIt is very difficult to clearly define the characteristics of Belgian design. However, I discovered a new context for working as a graphic designer. In my thesis, I focused on ‘language’ and its many interpretations mostly in the context of concrete poetry. I tried to interpret Belgian visual poems without studying the language layer in depth. Concrete poetry originated with the concept of language seen as a group of individual letters rather than a unit as well as a page being a surface for typ
