About me

I am photographer specialising in portraiture and still life. I use photography as tool to interpret specific elements of the fragmented world around me. This often presents itself in an abstract form, which reflects my exploratory vision of life. I try to combine the aesthetics and authenticity of my subject’s personality/character. I like constructing my reality to show my perception of themes I consider interesting. For me personally, photography becomes a journey where I simultaneously discover and shape of my subject according to my perception of reality. Therefore, I am constructing my uniquely personal version of the subject rather than simply documenting it. In 2017 I created series of the portraits ‘Decay Of The Flowers’ which was shown in the group exhibition in Menier Gallery and Summer Salon Exhibition in London. The series was to portray the beauty of the passing time and age using flowers as a subject. My recent project ‘In The Garden’ is a first step into working outside of controlled studio settings. Working on location I used the same principals but instead bringing the subject to the studio I recreated the studio in the subject’s natural environment. Currently working on the second part of the series 'Decay Of The Flowers' .

• The Echoes'The Echoes' is a video portrait in which each frame tells a story of tradition, blending the vibrant colours of Polish heritage with a modern twist. It carries the echoes of past generations and invites us to embrace our roots and serves as a beautiful reminder of our shared humanity and enduring spirit. This video is made in collaboration with 'Wrocław' Reprezentacyjny Dolnośląski Zespół Pieśni i Tańca and it is part of a wider project initiated last year HERITAGE IN FACES
