About me
Everybody has a story, you just have to stop and listen to them. I consider myself to be a community photographer and storyteller. My mission is to capture people in a way that represents them in a true and meaningful manor. I use my camera as a tool to get to know a person, starting the conversation and finding out how they are feeling in that moment. My photography and video work has taken me all over the world; From working with a renowned travel company capturing excursions and destinations, to my last adventure in Kuwait, working as the lead in-house photographer at the national cultural centre, Sheikh Jaber Al-Ahmad Cultural Centre. I have now returned to the UK to focus on my creative development in capturing and telling engaging stories through photography/video.

During my time at One Family I was working with the Head of Communications to help convey the stories for a wide range of charities. (Amir Khan Foundation, Maiti Nepal, SeaWatch) I was lucky enough to have incredible opportunities to capture and tell stories on high impact issues. In April I traveled to north Poland to capture a film and take portraits of refugees from Ukraine. During September I traveled with Amir Khan Foundation to document the catastrophic flooding that hit parts of Pakistan. Working closely with a team based in Pakistan we traveled to 3 different locations and I captured stories from the local residents. All working on very limited time frames. My responsibility during field work was also to liaise with the local media teams and ensure we were covering everything as to a high standard. When working from the UK office I would work closely with local photographers on the ground in disaster areas ensuring they understood the type of imagery we needed. Once I received the the field images I advised the head of communications which imagery was strongest. Then arranged to ensure a strong story could be understood by our audiences. As main photographer it was my job to capture all events and Galas. Including capturing studio style portraits of special guests during larger Galas.
