Product Design Engineer with restless spirit, defender that it is possible to do anything with dedication and energy.
The experiences as a resident at Fabrica, working at the Studio Patricia Urquiola, and later working in Portugal and Bali, gave me a strong interest in telling stories through objects, that transcend because of their emotional and social meaning. My work focuses on bringing awareness about sustainability and contemporary issues. For my next challenges, I am looking to go deeper in the research phase, adopting multidisciplinary and collaborative practices with handcraft and local communities. Moreover, to experiment with natural materials within new contexts.
My design process is enriched with a thorough creative research on the context, meaning and material trend; open to discuss with the starting concept/sketches with the clients; then working in 3D modelling and visualisation with photorealistic rendering and prototyping; and selection of colours, materials and fabrication techniques together with production and budget calculations.
