Assistant Store Manager • Supporting the branch manager with recruiting, interviewing and training alongside store duties • Preparing direct reports (sales & staff turnover) for area manager meetings and weekly conference calls • Driving business through managing and exceeding weekly KPIs: • Sales revenue (£400K annual rev.) • Average spend (Actual Transaction Value £14-£19) • Reward card penetration (RCP) which is the highest in our area (22 stores) • Individual product performance & Items Per Customer (IPC) reaching 2.2 vs.1.6 (average) • Thriving under pressure in sale periods by motivating new and old team members with creative and personable store incentives that reward high performance, ensuring my top line KPI’s are achieved every month (ATV & IPC). • Dealing with customer and employee comments, questions or complaints with empathy and efficiency while consistently monitoring the effectiveness of our customer service throughout the store. • Analyse the stores sales data before merchandising to maximize sales revenue on the best selling products. • Attention to detail when communicating visual merchandising plans and coordinated product displays ensuring a commercial focus sits alongside the plan.
• Leading the team of sales advisors with best practice, knowledge and experience on how consumers like to shop in order to effectively up-sell matching items, accessories and store credit cards. • Working with all stakeholders and departments to deliver an efficient running of the store: • Area Manager (Merchandising & sales reports) • Delivery support & stock team (Returns/enquiries) • Sales assistants (Delegating job roles and responsibilities) • Knowledge of current trends in fashion to back-up my creative visual merchandising initiatives on utilising space • Managing a click & collect service, assisting model store reviews (twice yearly) and key holding on managers days off/holiday (cashing up and banking)
• Delivering targeted £2K+ / month revenue in total sales from managing four jewelry stands in two separate stores. • Prioritising which store to visit (weekly) and addressing the lower performing stands with a commercial focus • Merchandising to visual guidelines as well as negotiating the best locations in-store for DCK stands/individual items • Working autonomously (fewer than one senior manager visit a month)
• Supporting enquiries over telephone/email concerning upcoming elections / local initiatives • Note taking on team meetings before writing and issuing letters to residents not already on the electoral register. • Monitoring the postal vote (logging data entries on in-house electronic systems) and organizing relevant reports
