About me

Akanksha is a freelance illustrator and a graphic designer who's currently looking for interesting creative projects to collaborate on. She is an alumni of Goldsmiths University of London where she did her Masters in Children's Literature: Children's Book Illustration. She also holds a BFA degree in Applied Arts where she studied graphic design and branding for over 4 years. Her versatile approach works to her advantage as it has helped her create a different visual style for every project of hers, each having its own visual appeal. Her work is colourful, narrative and detail-oriented.

Movie Clichés We're Sick Of In 2024It's a concept that's been sitting in my idea book for ages. I love understanding the world through cinema so I couldn't help but notice a bunch of redundant clichés across various movies that the audiences are bored of. This is an editorial piece (in a New Yorker Magazine format) that highlights a few of these tropes and pushes us to seriously write/consume new ones
