I am a multi-disciplined and passionate art director, graphic designer and illustrator who works’ across print and digital. I always strive to provide the highest level of visual sophistication combined through innovative, emotional and insightful research using tactical and strategic marketing and intelligent design. With a 360° approach a specialist in assets creation, digital design & communications for both e-commerce and editorial. Linde Werdelin specializes in producing limited and numbered series of luxury timepieces and instruments exclusively crafted in Switzerland. During my time I: • Print and digital content lead reporting directly to company directors • Campaign direction • Product launch strategies using innovative technology • Branding, web and print design managing multiple projects simultaneously • Content creation for e-commerce site • Drive consumer engagement • Designed brochures, POS, user guides and welcome packs • Liaison with external agencies and printers • Budget management • Art directed launch event in association with Bonhams & Basel World 2015 • Managing in-house press and digital team • Created social content • Managing interns responsible for digital archiving
GQ launched in Turkey in 2012 with collaboration by Conde Nast International. I was commissioned to: • Work with the fashion director to concept, story board and produce feature shoots • Picked and arranged interviews with Turkey’s most influential cultural icons • Managed an international creative team to shoot features • Created magazine layouts and typography working with GQ Turkey’s art department • Approved final layout
NU is a Turkish life style brand. My role was to: • Lead an international creative team to produce the F/W 13 campaign. • Management of project from concept to completion • Budget management
Giuliano Fujiwara is a conceptual fashion brand. I was hired by Designer and brand creative director Antonio Azzuolo to provide a new design approach. I: • Art Directed S/S 2013-14 advertising campaign using a combination of design, illustration and typography for print and online • Created layouts and pages for look books • Worked with in-house creative teams • Content creation for e-commerce site • Created seasonal invitations and press packages for international press events.
Massimo Bonini is a showroom, which sells global luxury brands. Working with the in-house art department, I was commissioned to: • Design and illustrate season campaigns for F/W 13 and S/S 14 collections • Created season-long branded content including print and online media • Worked with marketing team at Conde Nast Italia on special initiatives
Marjorie Gubelmann is a New York based DJ and socialite. I was asked by Marjorie to: • Art direct and develop MADMARJ.com • Designed original artwork for events • Design and customize typography for album artwork print and digital • Web management • Liaise with external web team • Created social media content
Homme Style is an independent magazine focusing on men’s fashion, pop-culture, art and film. It has quickly become widely recognized internationally as relevant and fashion forward destination. My role was to: • Art Director for global promotional campaign • Developed new key brand strategy with Diesel global marketing team • Art Direction, illustration, Art Working and typography S/S 2013 look book, print and digital campaigns. • Implemented new brand outlook through S/S 2013 look books, press kits and online content • Worked with print and paper specialist to create custom finishes • Worked with still and film production teams to create content
L’Officiel is a French fashion magazine, It has been published in Paris since 1921. • I was commissioned to create original illustrations for the cover and the features in the 90th Anniversary Issue
Schön! is an international fashion and design magazine. • Invited to be Guest Design Director by stylist Brett Bailey • Created and illustrated custom type face for cover • Art directed and story boarded cover shoot with Photographer Ellen Von Unwerth and model Naomi Campbell • Designed FOB/WELL and editorial layout • Proof management for print • Created custom stories for online including video • Project Management and archiving
Paper is a New York-based international magazine focusing on fashion, pop-culture, nightlife, music, art and film. My role at Paper was to: • Create and execute fashion-related content, including art direction of editorial spreads • Create and develop concepts for celebrity features, including direction of photo shoots and working within a production/ post-production team. • Structuring by assisting and working closely together with Mickey Boardman Editorial Director • Liaise with the in-house creative media team to ensure the final fashion layouts are effective and meet clients’ needs • Managing picture deadlines ensuring art department have every image ready for feature • Developed fashion-focused initiatives to grow social media footprint • Maintain relationships with photo reps, model agencies, fashion designers and showrooms internationally • Briefing creatives, maintaining a sharp eye for new talent • Create content and edit for Paper TV, Paper Magazine’s online digital platform • Sourcing top-quality imagery- negotiating rates, approvals & credits • Work within tight deadlines and limited budget • Attend seasonal shows/ presentations to stay updated on seasonal trends
Worked in Milan for Francesco Scognamiglio after graduating. I was promoted from Graphic Designer to Art Director.
