About me
As a musician, I found it difficult to afford a graphic designer or photographer to promote my work with. So, I taught myself instead.
I have been working with the Adobe Suite since the age of 12, which allowed me to adapt to many other programmes.
I love to mix blues with eyewateringly sharp portraiture, and I feel uncomfortable if my work isn't completely consistent.
Portraiture photography has always fascinated me ever since my first glimpse of Alfred Eisenstaedt's work. His ability to capture my imagination, and highlight the true beauty of life through photography inspired me beyond measure.
Projects
- Miss Flicklash // Initial Concept - Eyelure Take OverI worked alongside 'Miss Flicklash' founders Lucy Ross and Lynne Mills during the initial concept stages of their product. During these meetings, the name and product brand was created. Later that year, Miss Flicklash was brought to market by eyelash giant 'Eyelure' of which saw distribution in all major cosmetic outlets, in it's original packaging.
- Smash Consulting // Full Brand RedesignFrom mid 2015 to early 2016, I worked alongside Smash Consulting as their creative content director. This was a heavy undertaking for me, as I found myself driving both the photography and graphics at the same time, editing and producing a consistent look. With clients such as The Bank of Scotland; Capita and The Scottish Government, Smash Consulting needed to sculpt a highly professional brand, without losing their air of 'fun'.
