About me
I am a highly enthusiastic, hardworking, and motivated HR student, great at working under pressure, adapting to change and acquiring new skills and knowledge. I am sincerely dedicated to the field of Human Resources and will not miss an opportunity to further my knowledge and experience in it. I firmly believe in the crucial importance of following the best HR practice and facilitating inclusion, employee engagement, representation and wellbeing. My professional experiences involve doing voluntary work as a part of Human Resources team of Enactus GCU as well as working on the CIPD West of Scotland committee where I am responsible for designing and populating a monthly newsletter and helping with organising and running local events. I am a registered volunteer for the GCU Wellbeing service which has provided me with an invaluable experience of organising and running campaigns on critical wellbeing matters, such as diversity awareness, mental and sexual health awareness, stress management, social engagement, etc. I also carry out voluntary editing work for the Aim2Flourish Program aligned with the United Nations Global Reporting Initiative. In the past two years I have also been taking part in Student Leaders Program which focuses on developing crucial leadership and management competences such as resilience, responsible and diverse leadership, BME leadership, change management, social innovation, etc.
