• Providing proactive, comprehensive support to Annamaria to include booking of appointments, management of her diary, email management, and extensive liaison with both suppliers and the Michael Kors’ New York Head Office • I gained the chance to look after the whole "made in Italy" production process, dealing with artisans and suppliers and ensuring a high level standard at all times • Creating and archiving Product details sheet • Following up emails with Headquarters (NY), managing Samples - shipping, logging and call-backs, overview of the trade • Monitoring competitor activities and undertaking regular market research. • In this role, I was also required to ‘act up’ for Annamaria on occasion, for example attending meetings with suppliers when she was unable to do so • This role required excellent organisational skills, as it was essential that I managed timelines effectively to ensure that we met the deadlines put in place by Head Office.
• Creating and maintaing a long-term relationship with the customers in order to achieve sales goals and represent the store in a positive manner while ensuring recurring business. • Responsible for assisting customers with choices and help them locate them and provide information about the product in question. • Operating cash register once a sale has been made. • Inventory management, order stock and even stock shelves. • Providing product knowledge to the customers in terms of features and warranty along with any special discount or deal that the product holds.
