    Work history

    Freelance Recording Engineer

    Aug 2013
    • I have worked as a freelance voice-over recording engineer for an international TV channel dedicated to video games, between mid 2014 to the present day. This role included recording, editing, mixing, mastering, and acting as a producer for voice-over recordings.

    Orbitsound Rep

    Apr 2012 - Aug 2012
    • This particular job played to my key strengths within the retail industry. Tasks included knowing and selling specialised audio technology, meeting specific and sometimes technical customer needs, working with a team of customer advisors to deliver top quality customer service expected of John Lewis, maintaining a professional appearance at all times, providing detailed information on a range of audio products to the customer, providing demonstrations of products, and meeting specific sales targets. Working at John Lewis allowed me to refine the skill of being able to work well individually with minimum guidance but also as part of a team.

    Assistant Recording Engineer

    Jul 2010 - Apr 2015
    • Prior to working for GinxTV I gained experience working as an assistant recording engineer for Matthew Kemp (Leona Lewis, Robbie Williams). This mainly involved studio work and included; assisting the producer, recording engineer and musicians with any and all tasks, this ranged from making tea and running errands, setting up microphones, using a DAW to record the musicians, and keeping the studio a safe, clean and comfortable place to be in. This experience gave me valuable knowledge of a professional environment. I learnt how to deal with customers who knew what they wanted and maintained a professional work ethic with customers who could at times be difficult to work with.
