I'm an Industrial Designer born and bred in Scotland, living and working in London.
I've got experience with brands in the consumer electronics, travel, sports and footwear, interior architecture, furniture and nursery industries.
I'm all about finding a balance between positive human experiences and beautifully crafted objects, driven by genuine research and insight.
Having said that, I understand that the majority of companies and organisations want to make money, and that fast-paced, commercial design drives a large portion of any consumer market today.

My current role as a Product Designer comprises of the research, design and development of products for Diono within the nursery/parenting industries. This consists mostly of pushchairs, car seats and associated accessories.
This kind of design presents a unique challenge of combining technical engineering with trend driven aesthetics, multiple ergonomic factors, material and manufacture solutions, all whilst navigating complex IP environments. These challenges have proven a true education of the design industry and have given me the knowledge necessary to bring a product to market.
