In this position I was given control over a digital raffle service provided to non-profits and sports clubs as a fundraising method. The product was a form of incentivized giving and was aimed at smaller organisations to provide an alternate revenue stream. My duties included: Account management, customer support, business acquisition and product innovation. During my tenure, the service was undergoing an overhaul in which I played a key role. The process gave me the chance to review and scrutinize the usability of the product and subsequently contribute towards its progression.
As an Operations Exec at GamesAid my main role was to organise, promote and market fundraisers for the charity. I worked closely with the charity trustees such as the Head of Product Marketing at PlayStation UK and the Head of PR at Nintendo UK to ensure the success of the organisations fundraisers, acting as a central point of communication and organization. My day-to-day tasks involved the maintenance of all social media channels, compilation of weekly newsletters, other elements of PR and general administration. Additionally I represented the charity at relevant events enabling me to form client relationships and confidence within professional environments.
