When it comes to design I believe the most important qualities after core skills are enthusiasm and inquisitiveness – two qualities that really release the potential of a brief. I’ve spent 10 years demonstrating this; collaborating, conceiving and delivering across a huge array of needs. Experience in, and contributing to, a creative environment alongside designers, copywriters, content strategists and interactive developers. Possessing an ability to see the big picture and continually develop new and inspiring ideas.
• Lead designer on all Partnership projects, creating innovative presentations for new business propositions. Reporting to the Creative Development Director • Conceiving integrated multi-platform (print/digital) campaigns from initial concept to final delivery • Managing designers and external agencies • Importantly, I also help conceive and deliver trade marketing inventory, from Time Inc’s display ads in print, to commissioning and managing video case studies and inspiration pieces • Creating, designing and managing pitches for a large variety of clients
• Providing creative lead, direction and strategic input across all design projects and pitches • Delegating tasks within team, setting up and managing projects, inspiring and motivating team of creatives • Managing, negotiating timelines and ensuring that all deadlines are maintained with clients and third- party agencies • Management design and business budgets • Responsible for the Fix corporate identity and website up-keep
• Designing print and web graphics/marketing material for 20 sites including venues such as the Science Museum, Hampton Court and Queens Park Rangers • Working with the marketing team and each division’s marketing manager closely to produce a wide variety of effective marketing material • Coming up with ideas for marketing campaigns and pitches • Working with printers and liaising with external agencies, building rapport with venue managers
