Alexandros Paterimos, 21, is a Greek - South African photographer and filmmaker based in Cape Town. Paterimos majored in cinematography at AFDA Cape Town. His move to Cape Town has greatly influenced and reinvigorated his love for analogue photography. Paterimos shoots predominantly on 35mm film, which gives his work a nostalgic feel. He draws inspiration from his surroundings, mostly urban landscapes, nature, and the people who inhabit the spaces around him. Paterimos collaborates with his subjects to best represent their vision of themselves through his lens.
