I am passionate about community, fashion, commerce and new technologies and have pursued these interests for the last nine years. After first developing a strong grounding with top entertainment talent and then pursuing my interest in technology and driving innovation to the fashion industry with leading image recognition company Cortexica. Here I further boosted my operational, sales and marketing skills and gained significant knowledge of the fashion industry and all new social and technological platforms, understanding how they can be applied to brands and retailers. I then identified a need in the market to create a global community and platform that is FashTech. With the aim to adjust the industry’s focus on the importance of innovation through a series of events and help brands differentiate through innovation through consultancy expertise. I have worked with a variety of international brands such as Macy’s, Yoox Net-A-Porter, John Lewis, Conde Nast, eBay, Michael Kors, Westfield and Lightspeed. I thrive on the efficient execution of commercial projects in a fast paced and complex environment. Comfortable with high value deal management and ensuring stakeholder satisfaction, I am determined to apply my experience to the growth of a dynamic company – not just fulfil a job specification. Recently I have launched the SEEMO podcast. FashTech launched in 2014 as London’s first global event series to connect the fashion and technology community, encouraging entrepreneurship and supporting innovation in both fashion & retail. After hosting 21 events in 19 months, between London, New York and San Francisco, there was a demand from the community to do more. FashTech launched the inaugural Summit in April 2016, labelled as the ‘anti-conference’. Which saw 300 people, 57 speakers and 60 brands in attendance over 2 days. FashTech evolved into a boutique agency focused to help brands differentiate through innovation. FashTech developed a global community through a series of events and consultancy expertise. Overall 50+ events were hosted globally.
Employed as an Account Manager to support the sales and business development function by researching, defining and cold calling into a set of strategic FTSE500 accounts. Responsible for attaining initial meetings with Senior Exec level contacts and supporting the sales process to close. Achievements • New Business process – Customer acquisition strategy and systems (SalesForce.com) and built a functional sales reporting tool • Overall 98% on plan attainment for new client acquisition targets. Providing over £1M of new client revenue opportunities per quarter • Instrumental in maintaining interest and progressing high net value accounts such as Telefonica to guarantee closure of contract • On-Line Operations – Corporate market centric approach to all on-line marketing messages and campaigns projects ensuring correct targeting, market position and brand awareness against budget. Managed project to redesign website, revamp Facebook, Twitter and Linked in profile.
Employed on a commission only basis to sell advertising in a new fashion publication. Responsible for establishing a new business process for business development, strategy and generating revenue for the magazine through page advertising, digital advertising and creative solutions.
