About me
London based, following BBC training, I became part of the core creative team at internationally renowned production company Wall to Wall Media in London. There, among many projects, I co-created and was the original co – EP on the globally successful ‘Who Do You Think You Are’?’ history series.
I am an award winning screen creative, director, ‘show runner’/series producer, production executive, executive producer, screen business owner, and Australian federal screen agency senior executive.
My credits include critically acclaimed and popular factual TV series for a wide variety of UK, and international terrestrial and subscription channels. I am experienced in a wide range of genres and subjects, from science to pop culture, from high end historical documentaries to true crime formats.
I also have experience in producing most contemporary factual TV forms such as obs docs, drama-docs, formatted factual and fixed rig shows.
In my variety of production roles, I have helped create over 60 films and series. I also teach and mentor emerging talent, as well as engaging in international media conferences, screen business associations, and new media training labs.
My recent work includes award winning landmark specials like ‘Inside the Firestorm’, the story of the Black Saturday Bushfires (Winner of three AFI awards), ‘Dirty Business: How Mining Made Australia’ (Logie nominated) and ‘Immigration Nation: The Secret History of Us’ (nominated for the prime ministers prize for history). There are also hard hitting observational documentaries like ‘Last Chance Saloon’ (Logie nominated), and my most recent work ‘Revolution School’ currently on ABC TV, and this year nominated as the Oz Screen Producers ‘Best Doc Series on 2016-17’.
