I worked at IMG in the radio department in a varied and busy role from November 2013 - November 2015. Duties included: • Live TV sport production – scheduling Sky Sports' Eredivisie and MLS commentary as well as producing World Feed commentary. • Overseeing social media & content distribution • Live & recorded radio / audio assistant production • Production co-ordination, including production managing full radio coverage of the Ryder Cup in 2014. • Responsible for staffing across all productions in IMG’s Radio department, including commentators & summarisers for football. • Working on budgets & invoicing.
I was responsible for the day-to-day acquisition, transfer and distribution of broadcast material for BT Sport. I was a member of the channel’s media services launch team during the summer of 2013.
A Broadcast Journalism Training Council accredited one-year course. I received practical production, presenting and journalistic training and studied the medium of radio in an cultural context. I also studied modules in scriptwriting and media law & ethics.
