I am a creative individual looking for the opportunity to apply my previously gained strengths and employ my creativity, whilst challenging myself to broaden my professional skills and experiences. As an events manager for Fuller's I have been able to develop my B2B and B2C skills, liaising and collaborating directly with clients or through third party agencies and suppliers to deliver exceptional levels of service quality. I see events through from their conception to their execution ensuring I oversee all aspects of the event management process. As Events Manager, I ensure a high turnover of enquiries and encourage repeat business and growth of sales. I thrived to achieve the highest possible level of customer service on a daily basis, to ensure smooth delivery of events all the way through to their execution. In addition, I worked closely with the head office events to develop conceptual packages to offer clients and third party agencies at pubs and the brewery. I negotiate with third party tour group and large corporate bookings to develop sales opportunities with Fuller’s. My academic background and my previous work placements would allow me to easily transition into this position. As part of my degree, I undertook modules in both marketing and sales for which I achieved first class Honours. These enabled me to acquire a B2B awareness, budget management and commercial awareness. During my internships with Temperley London and Erdem, I demonstrated a hard working, self-starting attitude and ability to multi-task and prioritise under pressure. Whilst assisting at London Fashion Week and on photo shoots, I was exposed to the pressures and organisational skills necessary for these events to run smoothly. I have acquired strong collaborative skills, allowing me to work easily within a team and autonomously. I have developed strong communication skills – both written and verbal – and I have the added advantage of being bilingual in French and English and having an intermediate level of Italian. I am confident liaising with clients and pitching presentations and concepts. I worked in the Ale & Pie division, mainly based at the BarrowBoy & Banker but I did occasionally work on other sites when needed. Worked in the Head Office Events team to expand the use of spaces in Fuller’s pubs outside of trading hours. I also worked alongside the event coordinator for Westside drinks, the distribution company for Fuller's. • Presented a report on the profit gained from the creation of a breakfast meeting package. • Promoted and expanded wedding venues available within Fuller’s. • Devised promotional pack and menus to offer across Fuller’s pubs. • Organised Sales expo at Trade shows like Square meal and Taste of London in Regents Park. . Liaised with general manager on booking which we were able to place in their pubs. These tended to be tour groups which we drew up contracts with allowing to use our pubs on their tours. . Contacted tour operator to advertise Fuller's in their publication to grow Fuller's exposure outside of the UK.
Worked alongside the general manager on the day to day running of the pub. Achievements: • Helped coordinate several party bookings, keeping on top of all enquiries to ensure all booking are allocated. • In charge of marketing and visual merchandising in house and on social media to promote venue and new products. • Trained new members of staff to Fuller’s standard and any health and safety regulations. • Achieved E-learning: safety level 2, food safety 2 and licensing 2.
Worked closely with the design, product development, public relations and sales team in the run up to the Autumn/Winter 2011 Showcase, which was their 10th Anniversary catwalk show. Achievements: • Liaised with manufacturers and fluently delegated instructions and comments. • Assisted in the production and promotion of the Autumn/Winter 2011 catwalk show. • Participated on numerous photo shoots for pre-collections and Bridal. • Contributed to the prelaunch of the Bridal collection.
