- Potluck Zine Issue 1: Cooking During CovidPotluck is a print and online zine born from a love of food. It shares your stories of cooking, eating and sharing food and all the pleasures and practicalities that come along with it. It’s about togetherness, community and eating delicious things. Our first issue is an 84 page mammoth of a zine, with the theme of "Cooking During Covid" uniting the work. We explore how our routines and experiences with cooking, eating and sharing food were completely turned on their head by the 2020 Coronavirus

My course is half theory and half production. Since starting my course I have written academic essays on the Black existence in the West, and I've directed and produced films and photography pieces on similar topics. Through my academic work I have studied the agency of Black people in Western neo-liberal societies, racism in British media, coming of age cinema from a Black perspective etc. Moreover, in my practical work I have directed and produced short films and photography shoots covering themes such as migration and refugee displacement, discourse around Black women feminism, sexual liberation etc.
