About me
I am a visual artist and director based in London. Most recently, I produced and directed ‘float’, a short film that was screened at Channel 4 Studios. It also formed part of ‘Please Mind the Flash’, an exhibition at Hoxton Arches in December 2019. This short film was a response to a live brief from 4Creative. In the past year, I have also exhibited my own artist moving image work, ‘Mira + Mei’, at the Barbican Centre as part of ‘Concrete Salon’, an exhibition that I co-curated. I later went on to produce ‘Mira + Mei: The Zine’, a zine reproduction of the moving image, which also showed at the Barbican Centre at its ‘New Suns: A Feminist Literary Festival’.

I recently completed the ‘Creativity Works: Content Production’ traineeship run by Create Jobs (A New Direction), who partnered with Channel 4, Tim & Barry and Black Shuck to run an intensive programme for young emerging content producers. During this course, I participated in talks, workshops and masterclasses with Framestore, Untold Studios, Factory Studios, Somesuch, and ITV. As a response to a live brief by 4Creative, I produced and directed a short film named ‘float’ across six weeks; this was screened at Channel 4 Studios. This film also formed part of ‘Please Mind the Flash’, an exhibition at Hoxton Arches in December 2019.

Selected as one of fourteen emerging young artists and creatives in London, I formed part of the Barbican Centre’s Young Visual Arts Group for 2018/19. I was part of the curatorial team for ‘Concrete Salon’ (27-28 April 2019), an exhibition showcasing the work of the Young Visual Arts Group, born out of the creative energy cultivated through collective exploration and conversation. Here I produced and exhibited my own single-channel moving image piece, ‘Mira + Mei’ (2019).
