About me
I grew up in Hull where my initial interest in this career was created through the deep routed need to understand the theory behind filmmaking. Due to my home towns chance of becoming city of culture there were a lot of young initiatives that allowed access to young teens and from that point on I knew sets were where I wanted to be. In pursuit of this, I moved to Sheffield and started working on a various range of genres during my studies. After a year of experience on set and in a kit house I have moved south and in the Reading area.
My camera experienced has grown this past year and has given me an excellent understanding of how a shoot works and the expectations of specific roles; I've learned a lot about the work of each department within different genres. This including live sports events, scripted and non-scripted TV shows, short and feature length films as well as working with children. I have worked with American and British crews so know the differences in working on sets. In addition, I have camera training on multiple different systems as well as experience in the camera department and as a 2nd AC on bigger projects as outlined in my CV below. I’m further technically trained through my kit house experience with video and DIT.
