I am Alice and I am a Digital Design student at Brunel University London, currently UX/UI intern at Emakina.NL. I would describe myself as determined, open to new challenges and a fast learner, with a passion for any artistic expression.   • Poetry
    PoetryWriting has always been part of my artistic experience, I have been writing poems for more than five years, but, since I moved here, my way of writing changed. I think this comes from the extreme change of my previous habits. I feel I am growing up. My poetry is mainly free verse. My inspiration comes from Beat Generation’s artists. In particular, I have been fascinated by “Howls” (Allen Ginsberg) and by “On the Road” (Jack Kerouac). Another source of inspiration is Whitman’s “Leaves of Grass”. Little by little, I have tried to develop my own style of composing based on these artists’ rejection of standard narrative techniques and their love for freedom. In order to present my poetry I decided to create simple illustrations related, to the poem, using Adobe Illustrator.

    Nuvolaverde is an Italian new technologies organisation which aim is mainly to educate young people about new technologies through training schemes, digital media and TV programmes. 11/13-5/14 - Undertook a digital media training programme for students 9/14 - Offered a paid permanent part-time role - Developed Augmented Reality Apps for EXPO MILANO 2015 and Royal Villa of Monza - Created 3D models used in the Augmented Reality Apps and for educational purposes - Coded text content for the Augmented Reality Apps (HTML - ascii characters) - Taught high school students 3D modelling and stereo-photogrammetry - Delivered speeches at EXPO MILANO 2015 explaining the App we created and in Monza town centre, explaining Nuvolaverde’s project called ‘Jedi4Job’ which aim is to introduce young people to working realities - Worked as an interviewer for Nuvolaverde’s TV show on Reteconomy (channel 512, Sky) - Was interviewed for Nuvolaverde’s TV show about my work experience
