  Sustainable SeaI’m sure you’ve all seen seaspiracy by now, here’s my response to the documentary and issues raised within it, such as bycatch in tuna fishing, the dangers dolphins are facing and the threats to shark species.
• 2 DegreesIn 2016 a study showed that emissions needed to be cut by 80% in order to stop irreversible damage to arctic climates, like for example the Greenland ice sheet. How could there be an 80% cut when what actually happened was a huge increase in emissions and an expansion of the fossil fuel industry! Hundreds of gas fired power plants and thousands of miles of frack gas pipelines proposed for the following years, expansion of off shore drilling in the US and power plants al over the world being buil

  Plastic, Oil and GasA series addressing how plastic production is influenced by the demand for and production of oil and gas, due to the fact it is a product of extracting and refining fossil fuels for energy. A great quantity of the US manufactured plastics are planning to be exported to developing countries, where their waste management services may not be equipped to handle the current, let alone a huge surge in non-biodegradable solid waste.
