I love telling stories. Whether that's for brands, fact or fiction. I'm a senior writer with an integrated advertising copywriting background, but I also write for online magazines such as The Spread (film makers), written about women's rugby, and published short stories and joke books.
I've written over 100 corporate films and even directed a few too. I've written, produced and directed many hundreds of radio ads - love doing them in particular.
Outside of advertising I make short dramas and documentaries as a film maker (for Hurcheon FIlms), and I've presented my plays at London fringe theatres. Despite the lockdown, I managed to shoot three short films in 2020 - a historical monologue, a horror short and a music video. These were completed in 2021 and all have won awards. I've also written a second audio script that will soon be released as a podcast through Towton Audio in 2022.
I am currently in post production after directing the short script that won the Film Expo South Script to Screen award earlier in 2022. "Playing Away" written by Steve Langridge will be screened in September at the Film Expo South festival.
I'm always looking for new collaborators and challenges.

- "Stand as one" Charity Music VideoIt's been a while since I was commissioned to direct this charity music video by Richard Kirk from BeContent and the #MakeitBlue CIC. But today the singer song writer Joe Bygraves has officially released it on YouTube. Thanks to the 70+ crew who turned up and donated their time to make the film mid-pandemic especially John Hoare who was the cinematographer. Filmed on location in Camden and in the Roundhouse.
- Music Video "Stand as one"This was a film I shot last year for the #MakeitBlue campaign supporting NHS charities. Every download of the track by Joe Bygraves results in a donation to the charities. The campaign including this film won three awards at EVCOM recently including the Grand Prix. It's now up for a #charityfilmaward - please watch and vote for it here. - Launch of CBA GinDeveloped during the lockdown, these new infused gins have just been launched. As the copywriter, I created the concept of 'going in person', capturing the zeitgeist of the times when we can't travel.
