During my internship I assisted the Country Director in a variety of roles in order to support the operation of the in-country team.
Responsibilities:
• Creating efficient schedules for overlapping groups of volunteers on varying programmes.
• Managing and adjusting budgets for groups, from accommodation and travel to projects costs.
• Liaising with project partners in advance to ensure volunteers carry out beneficial and meaningful work during their programme.
• Writing up project proposals in order to obtain funding approval from the UK office.
• Managing social media updates and posting regularly for the charities’ different sub-brands.

• Presenting a pre-departure session detailing our planned itinerary and general travel advice.
