During my internship I assisted the Country Director in a variety of roles in order to support the operation of the in-country team. Responsibilities: • Creating efficient schedules for overlapping groups of volunteers on varying programmes. • Managing and adjusting budgets for groups, from accommodation and travel to projects costs. • Liaising with project partners in advance to ensure volunteers carry out beneficial and meaningful work during their programme. • Writing up project proposals in order to obtain funding approval from the UK office. • Managing social media updates and posting regularly for the charities’ different sub-brands. • Completing
• Assisting and supporting my group members with their fundraising throughout the year leading up to the trip. • Liaising with the UK office throughout the year to provide my group with updates and important information. • Presenting a pre-departure session detailing our planned itinerary and general travel advice. • Supervising, organising and motivating the team during our project work in country.
EcoCentrix Exhibition displayed installations and performances from Indigenous artists. Responsibilties: -Holding strong knowledge of the pieces in order to engage with visitors. - Assisting the curators and designer with the installation of pieces. -Approaching local businesses to ask permission to advertise the exhibition in their venues.
