Projects
  • The Velveteen Banquet
The Velveteen BanquetA project in partnership/collaboration with; The Tickled Pig, London Royal Ballet Alumni, Scaplens Court, Dorset Homebrew, Bournemouth University and Dorset Food Network. The Velveteen Banquet was an experiential dining event based on the timless tale of The Velveteen Rabbit, it explored the metaphors of becoming ones real self, through love and acceptance of others. A combination of atmosphere, food, dance and projection transformed the evening into an immersive experience. Behind this event, is was worthy cause, as our chosen theme was a unique coherence with the charitable aims of Rethink Mental Illness, who work ‘to give a better life to everyone affected by mental illness.’ Creative, experiential food is something we felt that Bournemouth market was currently lacking as it has grown in scale and popularity in London. We tapped into this trend, and providing it to Bournemouth culture buffs as an exciting arts offer. Our audience were passionate about culture, willing to try something new, and look for high quality events.
