About me
My background within fashion brands and publications has made me challenge my creative mind by gaining new ideas and developing them further. I like to challenge my entrepreneurial and creative personality where I have a lot of flare in the creative field. I am extremely upbeat with a very hands on approach and use my initiative when tasks have a quick deadline, which enables me to keep calm in stressful situations and remain positive. I believe my knowledge and skills from my fashion background within, social media, styling, sales, photoshoots, representing, increasing media presence, and overall knowledge of brands, influencers, artists and models would work well being part of the team. Working as an Account manager/Sales executive at Vaughan Designs I, coordinate 500+ clients on new projects and communicate with 450 + trade and 50 + retail clients on 50 + new products. IUnderstand clients’ needs to design and present back a vision to create their new home and run monthly reports on sales targets. I Communicate with trade and retail clients on new products and travel to sight to assist clients with products and themes for their project. I identify Instagram trends and propose new Instagram ideas and posts in order to reach a younger target market, achieved an 1000+ uptake in followers. The directors at Tea and Tequila (Hand crafted Mexican bag brand) asked me to assist on their SS19 photoshoot where I was part of production and the main stylist. I filmed behind the scenes and photographed the shoot on their Instagram story and my Instagram page to target a wider audience. I am very positive and a self-starter, where I styled both models to coordinate outfits with their bags, in keeping with their brand image. I managed the styling storage room, styling kits and styling documents with also making sure all products were kept with their correct product documents when organising returns back to brands. I made sure that the shoot was running on time with also doing breakfast runs for the team where the team also asked for my guidance and opinion throughout the shoot on positioning the model and achieving their brand image for their new collection. Working at Sheerluxe Magazine, my daily role was to assist the Fashion Editor, marketing, editorial and commercial teams. I created new stories and galleries using CMS affiliating links for brands such as, Affiliate Window, Linkshare, Webgains and Affilinet I sent approvals to clients to publicise their articles, designed and edited video content and images on all social media platforms. I am very proactive and willing when I assisted the fashion editor with calling in products for their high street haul videos, where we presented styling tips on camera for their Youtube channel and Podcasts. Here we were able to demonstrate to our subscribers the new street style what to wear and what looks good on different body shapes, with many more styling videos. We understand current trends where we generated and published entertaining and topical social & digital media content, which supported the editorial & commercial teams. I assisted the events manager for their entrepreneurial fashion event, where I was organized and had good time management when inviting guest speakers such as bloggers, fashion designers, fitness trainers and interior designers who have set up their own companies to give advice to our attendees. I assisted Camilla Elphick (Shoe designer) on new projects and design experiments, liaised with footwear manufactures and developed new designs. I researched key footwear trends from runway shows, researched key materials, themes, concepts for upcoming seasons. I would manage all samples at photoshoots where I would package all required products and deliver to location. I assisted with pre styling and also assisted on set with the head stylist, with also managing the model. I would contact our PR company before each shoot and manage returns. I organised a Trunk Show party for her LFW AW15 Collection and a Private Viewing Cocktail Party in a Pop up shop for her LFW SS16 Collection. For this event I sought decorations, location and was asked to model her collection, talk to guests about her inspiration behind her collection and promote the brand. I made sure that drinks and canapes were out on time with welcoming her VIP clients, taking names on the door and assisting the DJ to her needs. Throughout Camilla’s busy Fashion Week schedule and own launch parties, I managed her diary with showroom appointments, meetings and travel where I also captured content on all platforms on social media to target her audience daily. At Tada & Toy (Jewellery Brand), I manage their brand with being head seller at their Pop up shop in Nottinghill, assisting customers and teaching them about their brand. I organise and sell at LFW & LFWend, plan and run events such as launch & press parties, research new brands to collaborate with and research new trends ideas for their new collections. I have very good phone manner where for each company I ordered couriers and managed the office phone helping clients with product requests. I assisted both brands on marketing, using all social media platforms, to promote the brand and brainstorm new ideas to develop the brand further. I brought ideas to the team to promote the brand through fashion events to connect with and gain attention from our target audience. I assist the models and designers on photoshoots where I prep the model and organise the running’s of the day. I film and photograph behind the scenes of the shoot for their social media pages and updated their pages daily. We organised Pop up shops and sell at every LFW, LFWF season, Stylist live, Spirit of Christmas and Spirit of Summer. We promote the brand on all social media platforms such as Instagram, Twitter, Facebook and Snapchat. We were all clear about our objectives to create memorable content and promote it intelligently, so that the brand always came up with new creative and fun ways to attract attention. I loved that I was able to provide support to the creative directors where they ask for my opinion and guidance on what I think would sell best and how they could boost up the followers on social media. I love engaging with clients and help them to understand a companies history and goal, making them feel they are also are part of the brand. I have a solid business education where I studied Economics at school and Business from Quest Professional where I learnt; Leadership and Management, Business Correspondence and Administration, Finance and Economics, Business Law, Social Digital Media, Web and Web Design, IT - MS Office, Apple and Cloud Computing, Practical Advertising, Sales, Marketing, and Event Management.
