Check out International Women’s Day 2021, meet 100 rising stars inspiring change on The Dots! https://www.the-dots.com/projects/485666 A positive, proactive self-starter who enjoys working as part of a team, I developed my natural aptitude for connecting with people as the Communications Intern at Viacom International Media Networks (VIMN) and as an Events Coordinator at Location House – Host by Labs. Skills I’m currently putting to good use as the Producer on the This Way Up Podcast, ranked #5 on iTunes Career podcasts. - We Are Not A StereotypeTo mark International Women’s Day, we are doing something BIG. The pandemic is widening the gender pay gap and something needs to be done…and we need your help. Since the pandemic started the gender pay gap has widened to the extent that women in their mid-30s will not see equal pay in their lifetime. “We are not a stereotype” is a movement to try and stop this. Events CoordinatorLocation House
- London, United KingdomFull Time
Location House is a company that organises events in architecturally unique properties in London. As an Events Co-ordinator supporting Operations, I was involved in all operational and logistical aspects of venue hire. One of my key focuses was on calendar organisation for a small, but very busy team – ensuring maximum efficiency between members of the team working in the office and those out of the office conducting site visits. I was in charge of note taking in meetings, the digitisation of files, attending secondary site visits with clients/production staff, face time with new people, ensuring all ledgers for event hires were updated and accurate, drafting the hire specific contracts, processing invoices, maintaining our social media presence, and supporting the Operations team at events like London Fashion Week and working across launches for clients such as Garnier, Annie Mac Presents, Christopher Kane, and Four Seasons. The role also involved being the point of contact on site for client and maintenance to get any issues sorted as soon as possible.
