I’m the co-founder and editor of Create-Zine, an independent self-promotional publication that showcases the best in global illustration, art, craft, design, art direction & printmaking. Uniquely, it is aimed at the creative commissioning industry by targeting time-starved art buyers, creative directors, designers and publishers. We sift through hundreds of portfolios from across the globe to handpick the most innovative and talented work. I curate, edit, develop, distribute, market and promote this little side project. I write all web, newsletter, social media & printed copy, interview artists, write features and introductions. I liaise with the creative community and present only those who are ready for commercial commissions. Create Zine is also a carefully curated source of inspiration founded purely to help image-makers raise their profiles from an already noisy online space by directly placing their work in front of those who have the power to commission.
As editor-at-large of the global online magazine, I am dedicated to delivering the most insightful original stories relating to design, culture, craft, food and the arts. We offer ‘another view’, and our articles include interviews with owners, makers, curators and designers as well as unique features, honest opinion and visual content. Part of my role involves travel & representing the magazine locally & internationally, attend events and briefings and developing lasting relationships with subjects, PR's and clients. Factual information and SEO is key, so my research skills and my attention to detail has developed as a result. I also contribute to posting Instagram Stories while on commission.
PEZO reinvents kids mobile screen time by seamlessly integrating educational challenges with online playtime, giving parents the ability to block any of their children's apps and games until they complete each challenge. My role within one month was to quickly and accurately edit the copy of Phase One App assets including mobile, dashboard, UX, web and installation flow.
For the Let It Grow platform, which accelerates the movement of urban green living, I contribute to writing features and interviews about dwellers, start-ups, plant and flower enthusiasts, industry leaders, innovators and artists that promote greener cities. Writing regular stories about green urban movements and green living pioneers, I have interviewed and investigated subjects such as biophilic gymnasiums, seed saving revolutions and city foragers.
Le Bab is a young & modern gourmet kebab house based in Soho, London. Their ex La Gavroche chefs design seasonal menus using organic & free range British produce. As their ex-marketing and social media consultant, I contributed & advised on ideas, initiatives and partnerships. I managed their online reputation by maintaining brand tone ensuring consistency and house style. I oversaw the creation of content including recipes, promotions & interviews on Twitter, Facebook & Instagram, but also analysed digital footfall using Google Analytics & Facebook Insights. I promoted the restaurant, it’s chefs, ever-changing menus and offers on social media and website.
I contributed a chapter (No. 20) to the brilliant 'A Veganuary Conversation' book, which is a conversation about veganism; told, cooked, photographed, improvised, drawn and mused over 31 days, with 31 hosts, at 31 dinners, documented by 31 photographers and 31 writers over 31 chapters. "15 cities, 8 countries, 11 chefs, 7 instances of sweet potatoes, 8 instances of chocolate, plenty of culinary ambition, impressive impro skills, an admirable amount of honesty, the expected dash of scepticism, a few doors ajar, just one - maybe two - firmly shut. And as such, perhaps an apt representation of the status quo of veganism in a much, much bigger picture than allowed on these few pages. The book features everyday dinners as well as several six-course culinary adventures.
As one of London's most recognised architectural structures, The Shard is home to some of the best offices, restaurants and hotel rooms in London - along with breathtaking views. As interim digital marketing manager, my role involved generating ideas and partnerships, writing and uploading content across all digital channels, including bespoke CMS platform. I oversaw social media campaigns and worked closely with the PR to increase online engagement and site visits. I liaised with high profile occupiers, from the restaurants to hotel and corporate to ascertain best cross-communications. I also wrote creative briefs for photographers, production companies, event organisers and caterers for special campaigns and projects. As well as writing e-newsletters, I assisted in regular off-line events.

As co-curator and programmer of Bar Shorts, we brought some of the best in pioneering short film and animation to a new live audience. We hosted the events in London, Brighton, Liverpool and NYC with the aim to give new and undiscovered directors a platform to show their work outside of the festival circuit.
My role was to promote 12Foot6 film and animation studio across all platforms on and off-line. A substantial part of the role included building a community that included fellow filmmakers, writers, fans and studios across the globe. I co-hosted events, parties and screenings with the idea to engage and communicate both on and offline. The role included PR and marketing liaising with the national and online press. I also entered their work into competitions and awards on a monthly basis, write their newsletter and all web copy.
The Central Illustration Agency is one of the world's leading resources for the very best in illustration, contemporary commercial art and interactive motion graphics. Over seven years my role evolved tremendously within the boutique agency. From managing the day-to-day running of the agency, supporting agents and over 100 artists in managing both online marketing strategies and online print shop, my role was varied and often creative in nature. With the birth of social media and online self-promotion, I singlehandedly launched their online presence and wrote copy & stories across all digital platforms including website, blog, and all social channels. I developing strong relationships with artists, art buyers, creative directors and learned the importance of digital marketing.
