Interior Designer Assistant
• Undertake conceptual design work on a variety of commercial and residential projects.
• Prepare scheme drawings and 3D images
• Supplier/ Product Research – Online research as required identifying/ locating products and suppliers.
• Corresponding with Suppliers & Manufacturers
• Visits to CTG sites both locally and nationally.
• Working to a brief, which details what the space will be used for, and attention to detail.
• Inspecting and surveying buildings.
• Setting schedules for the project.
• Carrying out research, to make sure that plans are technically feasible
• Producing rough sketches and a mood board - a collection of suitable images, colours and materials.
• Developing detailed designs, using computer-aided design (CAD) software. Specifically Sketchup Pro & Layout, Autocad, Revit and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Choosing the most appropriate materials under direction
• Creating documents for Tender
• Coordinating snugging and final sign off
