• New York Close Up "Joiri Minaya Pattern Making"I was commissioned by Art21 to create a short documentary about Dominican Multidisciplinary Artist Joiri Minaya for their “New York Close Up” series. It received a Vimeo Staff Pick for it. Shot in between DR and NY the histories, realities, and fantasies of the Dominican Republic and the wider Caribbean are explored, exposed, and subverted as Minaya seeks to control her own representation and visibility. • "Universal Heartbreak" Music VideoThe piece was really inspired by Nan Goldin’s photographs, especially “Ballad of Sexual Dependency”, and separately by Pre-Raphaelite paintings, specifically Henry Wallis’s “The Death of Chatterton”. Also 90s luxury fashion ads of sad, sexy models. For the exterior NYC shots the intro sequence to “Manhattan” was my main inspiration; So, lots of 1990s nostalgia at play.   NZCA Lines "Prisoner of Love" Music VideoI produced, directed, shot, and edited this music video for NZCA Lines during COVID Lockdown in Brooklyn, NYC in May 2020. We worked remotely with Elena Vazintaris (an NYC based choreographer) and Chris Lunney (an NYC based lighting and live visuals artist). Evan Kultangwatana graded it for us remotely out in Seattle. Karina Nova designed the Title and Credits for us out in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic.
