Exhibited as part of the Battersea Arts Station Exhibition 2015 celebrating the iconic building, which is the Battersea Power Station Friday 25th to Sunday 27th September 2015, 10am-5pm every day. Free admission. Battersea Arts Centre, Lavender Hill, London SW11 5TN. The exhibition hosting an amazing collection of art inspired by the iconic building, for sale at all prices with 20% of sales going to three local arts charities; BAC Beatbox Academy, Theatre503 and World Heartbeat Music Academy.
During my two week Internship at Advocate-art, I was given the opportunity to work on the Evolve book project. Evolve Book • Creating Artist folios- showcasing new work from Illustrators at Advocate-art • Simplifying master page templates and layouts to accommodate for individual artists folios while keeping branding intact - Adobe InDesign • Producing double page spreads for each artist – Adobe InDesign • Layout Design, Type face and size • Downloading high-resolution images from the AMS • Creating and organising folders for each artist containing links for images and double page spreads. • Exporting PDF’s ready to be checked for any amendments and carrying them out. • Exporting Print ready PDF’s ready to go into the final Evolve sample books for different Clients. • Keeping an up to date Excel spreadsheet of artists for each Client. Other tasks carried out during my time with Advocate-art: • Blogging to promote new book samples and Illustrators using Wordpress • Illustration produced using Adobe Photoshop for "Stickmen's guide to watercraft" book. • Working with the Agents to create hyperlinks to Illustrators portfolios on the AMS ready to email out to Clients. • Sharing files over Hightail. • Helped by searching and printing routes and directions for the Agent to attend several meetings during her 4-day business trip to Australia. • Relinking images within old artists folios – Adobe InDesign • Sampling/Packing samples to be shipped • Using Advocate Interface system to search for addresses for samples to be delivered to. . Putting together mock up books ready to show clients

10 minute talk for the second year students explaining the problems they may face within the first unit of their second year and how they can manage their time efficiently throughout the year. Briefly talking about my experience of second year and how I dealt with the change from level 4 to level 5.

New Look Harrow 27th July 2009 – September 2012 and 7th June 2013 – 30th August 2013 (Sales Advisor) • Fully trained on computerised till, using in house ordering system and opening new store cards • Exchange and returns, fitting room and clear rail duties • Stock check for customers, hanging and restocking merchandise • Ordering sale by colour and price, assisting to change mannequins to promote the stores sale • Marking down sale items keeping existing displays presentable • Replenishing accessories stock around the store, remerchandising accessories • Dealing with customer complaints • Over night shifts to prepare for summer and Christmas sales i.e. marking down, graphics and reorganising shop floor, cleared up and organised the delivery and void room • I have also had the opportunity and the responsibility of helping management to cash up at the end of the day. Above tasks gave me the experience and ability to plan and organise my work load. To communicate with public in confidence with strong focus and understanding of their requests. During this time I gained the confidence to work individually to achieve accurate results and at the same time to be part of a team.
