  Fragmented landscapeFragmented landscape (2014) is a series of 82 polaroid photographs. Documenting and witnessing some of the demolition and physical change taking place in Beijing, the series focuses on the ‘hutongs’, the narrow streets, alleys and courtyards that once made up much of central Beijing. Taken over a period of 6 months, the rapidly shifting landscape on show represents a country in major transition. The rich cultural and historical significance of the hutongs is fading quickly as the pressure from
• BreaknoteSystem of notation for breakdancers. Sensors are attached to the main parts of support of the dancer like the knees, the elbows, etc. A machine records each movement and print the different steps and choregraphy of the dancer by using the notation.
• Material interactionMaterial interaction is an exploration about the relationship between materials and the environment like the surrounding light.

I have been working at Nokia/Microsoft in London specialising in Colour and Material Design and recently working for 6 months in Microsoft’s Beijing design studio in research and experimentation with materials which are used in pre-production for Microsoft’s phone technology. This involved collaborations with specialists from User Experience, Sound and Industrial designers. My role has been diverse working mostly from concepting, prototyping ideas to organising and leading creative workshops to working with suppliers and model makers.
