An earnest graduate from Ravensbourne, rendered bilingual by my Russian heritage, I am looking for challenging and exciting opportunities within the sphere of sales and marketing. The digital university bestowed me with skills in Microsoft Office, the Adobe Suite, AutoCAD and Kaledo as well as knowledge of international markets, commercial awareness, customer segmentation, their habits and application of new technologies based on websites such as LS:n Global and Mintel. Interning at Anna Loucah and working as the PR leader at Penrose festival furthered my written and visual communication, pushed me to manage time effectively and listen to other team members in order to negotiate and complete projects to deadlines.
Working alongside the brand’s founder, I have been responsible for setting out the marketing strategy, researching and profiling target customers, proposing campaign ideas through pitching moodboards, possible locations and team members. Creating a database of influential bloggers and personalities to feature the jewellery and contacting relevant businesses such as high-end bars and cafes to initiate future collaborations and pop-up events across London.
Duties involved contacting fashion editors, stylists and model agencies to build teams for collaborations as well as assisting in model castings. Working with clients to ensure their events run smoothly, processing invoices, maintaining the website and updating imagery and content. Researching articles for their new magazine, Fashionopolis. Creating a moodboard for the Elle Thailand main fashion story, presenting my ideas to the team and sending it to model agencies. Setting up equipment and assisting on photo shoots. Helping the office run efficiently by answering phone calls and emails.
Research and keep up with the latest events and developments within the spheres of fashion, art, music and politics to write regular features for the website. Further responsibilities involved organising and directing photo shoots, representing the publication during meetings with PR agencies and sourcing relevant garments and locations for the editorials. As a member of the editorial team, I contributed to the business plan of the publication, helping to outline budgeting, marketing strategies and ventures to increase revenue.
Responsibilities included: writing and distributing the press release; building a database of businesses and individuals to invite as well as media sources to contact with regards to advertising; working alongside the marketing department to develop content in line with the brand; organising a promotions team to carry out the distribution of leaflets across strategic locations; attaining permission for the use of the screens outside the O2 arena; promotion through social media; recruitment of a motion graphics designer and a DJ; reporting back swiftly on progress and issues to keep the project leader updated.
