I worked as the CRM Executive for the following retail brands, Snow+Rock, CycleSurgery, and Runners Need brands held under Outdoor & Cycle Concepts Ltd. My primary responsibility was to own all email development, delivery, and reporting across the three brands, in addition to maintaining each of the individual CRM programmes. I also assisted in the migration of the prior email service provider to Adobe Campaign. • Code HTML marketing campaign emails • Liaise with brand managers, creative studio and content teams to brief, design, and approve email content • Schedule emails and maintain customer segmentation in ESP platform - RedEye / Adobe Campaign • Test and proof all emails for accuracy and browser/client compatibility • Analyze campaign data specifically relating to email engagement • Plan improvements to campaign emails and test for improved open/click through rates • Responsible for weekly email tracking and business reporting via Google Analytics • Create and manage life cycle emails to enhance the customer journey
My primary responsibility as a Multimedia Developer was to ensure high conversion rates for email and digital marketing for IT and project management training products. This was achieved by overhauling the outdated company mail design, and instigating numerous targeted campaigns for different demographics to ensure the highest possible conversion rate for the effort spent in designing novel campaigns. The new designs and campaigns I produced during my tenure in several months managed to double our profits on certain products. I also maintained my previous responsibilities as Studio Operator/Video Editor. I acted as the primary studio operator directing instructional talent in educational IT and project management training video productions. Worked closely with the Production Team Leader and Director of Operations in all productions from start (pre-production: contacting talent before arrival, organizing course content) to finish (post-production: editing training videos, and other release preparations). • Directed and filmed one-on-one training sessions with Instructional talent in a full video production studio • Fully edited and prepared training products for final release and online distribution • Wrote, provided voice-over, and edited all marketing videos for the company and partner company’s websites and YouTube pages • Assisted administration with processing orders, shipping packages, and imaging DVDs when needed
This award was presented to myself and 13 peers at Quinnipiac University after submitting our documentary Children of South Africa as part of our Media Production course that semester.
