I have many years experience working across both print and digital, including but not limited to branding, packaging, web design and UI/UX. Offline/Print Skills I gained a good grounding in print early on whilst working in the studio of a printing firm. Consequently I'm comfortable taking projects right from concept to pre-press artwork delivery. I've created every kind of marketing/corporate literature from brochures to company reports to direct mail and exhibitions. Later I became involved with packaging design which has become one of my favourite areas to work in. Online/Digital Skills I'm comfortable conversing with developers and techs to achieve goals and have solid HTML and CSS skills. I'm fully aware of modern site UX patterns and JS effects as well as how site elements should respond for different screen sizes. I have excellent Adobe CC suite skills, and can produce highly polished visuals/layouts and wireframes using MockFlow/Illustrator and turn these into interactive click models using the InVision software. I have experience of working in pharmaceuticals, travel, SME, not-for-profit and motorsports, as well as many other areas such as financial, telecoms, health, medical, legal etc. I have strong drawing and illustration skills as my degree (1st) was actually gained in Illustration, and even I won commendations from competitions by the D&AD and the MacMillan Prize for illustration. I've been self employed on and off for a number of years, so i'm capable of managing my own projects, timing, costs deliverable etc and liaising with clients. I also collaborate with local agencies on some projects, so am also happy working with teams on larger projects. I have high standards of perfection when it comes to executing and delivering designs, and hope for the same from those i work with. At the same time, I'm aware that when deadlines are looming, decisions must be made quickly so as not to hold up the process. I live in Kent but can be in London on the High Speed in 35mins, or i have a car to get to other locations when needed.
