Digital Editor
I am currently Editor at M&S, responsible for the strategy for the copy, video and photographic content for the site's editorial section, Style & Living. The role includes everything from planning daily and monthly lifestyle content across the company's business units from womenswear, menswear and kidswear to home, food and lingerie to strategy and tone-of-voice, always with the customer in mind. I oversee a ten-person team of editors and copywriters in addition to commissioning freelancers and being responsible for the multiple photoshoots on the site - the latter includes working with top photographers, art directors and stylists for both studio and location shoots. In addition to the day-to-day running of the editorial content, I look after the syndication of this content across affiliate networks and blogs and work closely with the marketing, social media SEO and PR teams at M&S on a day-to-day basis. During my tenure at the company M&S launched its loyalty program Sparks on which I oversee weekly editorial emails.
