     - Melksham, United KingdomFull Time
My achievement during this time was to re-build an inexperienced team of around twenty staff; the re-build required firm management. Unfortunately, this entailed losing some adopted team members who did not have the technical skills to fore fill their roles. I hired, coached, mentored and applied analytical and critical thinking with careful planning. I designed many innovations, aiding the companies design lead image, helping the company gain new customers (including SCS and DFS) while doubling turnover. My role involved dealing with and presenting to customers, project planning, risk analysis and financial costings while managing the day-to-day running of the design and development department. I decided to leave and work for the large multi-national furniture chain, Harveys. I wanted to advance my career; acquiring a more commercial approach to my work.
