  • A millennial Wasteland
    A millennial Wasteland This project aims to analyse language and its transformation since the introduction of the internet.   • How does technology affect our sleep?
    How does technology affect our sleep?An exploration about how technology affects the way we sleep. I recorded the difference of our movement while sleeping, contrasting the traces left in a day were I had spent 6 hours in front of a screen, against a day with 0 hours of screens. After gathering this information and some other facts like the amount of sleep and how many times have you been restless or awake (recorded with the 'iwatch') the final product was two different posters, one for each experiment. The posters (A1) were screen printed in bedsheets. A small A5 publication accompanied both posters, with some more information about the subject, from different studies and articles.

    Digital EmotionWe investigated the use of emoticons as a tool for the expression of emotions in on-screen communication. Exploring the pros and cons of their evolving popularity as a way to communicate sentiment in a digital society. In efforts to illustrate this we displayed our publication in both a traditional and digital format, with the idea to convey the tension in how we communicate through these separate platforms.

    VoiceA publication who's main objective is to preserve a glipse of voice. Representing "Solo for Voice 91" conceptual composition from John Cage, where the voice is the only instrument.The publication consists of three different parts (Voice 01, Voice 02, Voice 03) that represent three different voice tones belonging to the same person. "This is not music to sit down and listen to from start to finish. It is questionable whether sitting down is really appropriate at all: wandering and exploring is more in order."

    “Welcome to a Murakami Novel”Set of icons describing elements you can always find in Murakami’s books. The final outcome is an “interactive” book that tries to simulate the experience of reading one of his books.
