A true passion for artworking, graphical layouts and visual merchandising. Recently gained a strong experience at VM Graphics Ltd. in brand awareness, designing, artworking, coordinating and managing diverse projects for high-end, luxury brands. Collaborated with Alfred Dunhill, Burberry, Chanel, Coach, Jaeger, Lanvin, Phillip Lim, Versace and The White Company to produce window display installations and in-store designs, whilst working to tight deadlines to exceed client’s expectations. Artwork/Design: Key player in the design and artworking for all high-end fashion and retail projects. Extensive experience on ‘Adobe Creative Cloud’ Illustrator, Indesign and Photoshop on the Mac, forming layouts for publications, print, graphical illustrations, digital renders and cutting files for 3D design. Marketing/Set-up: Played an essential role in the company set-up, assisted with the overall branding (website, portfolio, business cards, etc.) and office systems of the reformed company; including templates (Excel) and presentation layouts (Indesign). Strengths in problem solving, particularly maths related. Coordination/Management: Delivered exceptional results in a fast-paced industry; prioritised and met unrealistic deadlines under pressure. Oversaw the running of projects; methodically prepared and checked over briefs, costs and installation guidelines, primarily working with Burberry, Chanel, Eres and Lanvin. Collaborated with fashion and retail brands towards the success of creative projects at VM Projects Ltd., a former visual merchandising solutions agency, producing store design led concepts and projects. Coordination: From initial brief to execution, taking control of the success of retail projects; brainstormed ideas, delivered clear proposals to clients and methodical guidelines to suppliers. Arranged logistics, completed RAMS and requested access to all stores. Managed cost control; achieved the target “mark-up”, issued quotations/purchase orders, etc. Production/Creative: Understanding the brand and exceeding the client’s expectations, notably working with Alfred Dunhill, Jaeger, The White Company and Versace, with knowledge of suitable materials, finishes and methods of production for a diverse range of in-store designs and window displays. Created impactful renders/visuals, designed and created scaled drawings for retail “props” and sculptures, prepared cutting files and produced print-ready artwork for suppliers.
Introduced graphic design throughout the marketing and branding, worked as a PA to develop business skills, dealt with clients, regularly problem solving and trained as an Image Consultant. Publications: Designed the layouts for prospectuses, leaflets, newsletters, business cards, etc. incorporating typography, fashion illustrations and vector drawings. Marketing: Created conceptual mood-boards, photographed the merchandise for the online shop, proofread the website, enhanced the social media platform and edited tutorial videos (Adobe Premiere)
