About me
My name is Amanda Massucco, I am a fashion contributor for Gilt fashion magazine. I have studied Foreign Languages, Literatures and Translation at University of Bologna and then I continued my studies in Milan with a Master in Fashion Communication. I used to work as a PR Assistant at Purple PR and I had interned at Karla Otto before that. I also had the chance to work with Jenny Kennedy, Sophie Paxton and Katrina Israel while interning at ES Magazine.
I have now decided to leave my career in the PR industry behind in order to pursue my true passions, writing and styling. I have always been fascinated by the editorial world and I have been working as a Fashion Features contributor for the Milan based GILT Magazine for the last couple of years.
I have enjoyed my time working in Fashion PR helping my clients being featured on worldwide renowned publications. During my time at Purple PR I have had the chance to speak and work with some of the most talented stylists and journalists. Through this I have realised that styling is a path that I find more suitable for me than PR after I have realised that the part of my PR job I used to find the most interesting was working with stylists.
Since leaving my work in the PR industry I had the chance to intern at both Wonderland Magazine and Elle Magazine.
