• Planning and preparing art courses and lessons • Teaching according to the student’s educational needs, including the setting and marking of work. • Creating imaginative teaching resources and engaging students in a variety of styles of work. • Promoting the general progress and well being of students in my care • Providing students with guidance on educational and social matters relating to their studies and future careers. • Providing a detailed typed report on each student each term • Communicating and consulting with parents and other persons or agencies outside the school as required. • Working closely with the Head of Department and assisting with the preparation and introduction of new courses and schemes of work. • Safeguarding the health and safety of students in my care • Using positive behaviour management systems to ensure student’s behaviour is conducive to learning. • Use of Excel to analyse and manage student data
• Delivering high quality, safe and clinically effective health care over the telephone using the clinical decision system NHS Pathways. • Demonstrating the ability to remain focussed on service delivery whilst dealing with an unpredictable, diverse and challenging workload. • Using advanced listening, probing and facilitative skills across a wide range of calls, some of which can be highly challenging due to emotive circumstances or caller aggression. • Participating in the continuous quality improvement audit process to develop individual performance and delivery targets. • Maintain an up to date awareness of current policies and utilise acquired skills in mental health, child protection, medication enquiries and all other aspects of general healthcare.
