About me
I design Iridescent lamps made with wood and acrylic which are friendly to the environment as I only use low energy lighting (LED bulbs) and I try to only use reclaimed wood for the bases. My designs have a futuristic feel to them with elements of the 60’s era as the lamps produce beautiful and colourful patterns around the surround space. My inspiration comes from our local town Norwich. Norwich has an abundance of churches to admire with detailed designs, patterns and colours, which project through the stained glass windows as well as the grand aspects of the churches we have. Geometrics has a big part in my designs and is ever growing with botanical elemenst.

Education
    BA
     - Norwich, United Kingdom
Three years of recent study, culminating in a BA Degree in Textiles from Norwich University of the Arts, have broadened my practice and skills. My degree work has involved screen-printing on to many materials/media. I have experimented with digital design printing which has transformed my ability to work in 3D forms, constructing moulds and mould-making, working with wood by drilling to create detailed designs, and using resins that harden into a transparent solid. These skills have allowed me a greater flexibility in designing lighting installations based on geometric patterns, for example.
