Amélie Ravalec is a London-based film director, video editor and colourist. She has been directing and producing documentaries independently since 2009: Art & Mind (2019), Industrial Soundtrack For The Urban Decay (2015) and Paris/Berlin: 20 Years Of Underground Techno (2012). Her films have been released theatrically worldwide with over 550 screenings in cinemas, festivals and cultural institutions in 50 countries. Amélie’s films have all been self-funded and self-distributed.
She has also been working as a freelance video editor and colourist for the last ten years in London, Paris, Melbourne, Brussels and Berlin, working in advertising, feature films, virtual reality, music and fashion. Clients include BBC, Canon, David Beckham, Eurostar, H&M, Google, Johnnie Walker, Nike, Porsche, Warner Bros, WWF.
Amélie Ravalec co-founded VR production company Circle Time in 2017, with clients including Musée d'Orsay, Opéra de Paris, SNCF and FNSEA. Amélie also edited VR feature film Fan Club, starring Sylvie Testud, Mathieu Kassovitz and Denis Lavant, released 2019.
