Freelance Writer
Huck is a global magazine exploring the many facets of radical culture - be it surf, skate, snow, music, art, activism, pop culture, the environment and the world in general. My role is pitch and cover feature stories for the web and print, digging into the underground both here in the UK and abroad. I've also worked as a copywriter for the publisher, The Church of London (TCOL) crafting a pitch for now-partner Heathrow airport, creating media packs, and doing brand journalism for The Working Artisans’ Club: a series by the zine and O’Neill that celebrates the indie maker community.

Produced information-rich, customer-focused and ASA-standard advertorials, led by an in house voice laced with humour. Worked to high pressure deadlines, using HTML templates, Salesforce CRM and a custom CMS to ensure site-readiness. Researched laws and created ethical medical deals. Brought in 20k gross+ on celebrity tickets.
