Do you really want to delete project Think Little, Do Big.?
I currently freelance at Sky Creative helping out over a variety of projects across the Sky Entertainment channels. I have attended several live shoots, designed artwork to be used in promos and created moving end boards, whilst assisting the team on many other tasks. I am able to utilise both my design skills and my software skills primarily in After Effects and Illustrator, but also challenge myself to improve my skills in Cinema 4D. I particularly like that the internship allows me to throw myself into any projects given and work on live briefs with tight deadlines.
I interned at designed by awake for two weeks helping out on a charity branding project for GivingWays, designing and developing the company's brand. This was a really fun project that allowed me to be part of the brand's journey from its developmental stage to an almost finished product. Working at a small company, meant that I had the opportunity to use my initiative and work in different disciplines, utilising many of my creative skills across a range of media.
I helped create artwork that featured on the aired BBC Radio 1 Teen Awards 2014 trailer featuring artists such as The Vamps, Labrinth, Rixton, Ella Henderson, Ariana Grande and 5 Seconds of Summer. This was a really exciting project which allowed me to develop my skills in Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects and Cinema 4D whilst working in a creative environment.
I completed a two week internship at Gunslinger Films which is part of the Revolver Entertainment Group, supporting their small but busy PR team. My role consisted of managing press cuttings, carrying out research for various projects, updating their press database, drafting press releases, liaising with journalists to pitch for editorial coverage and brainstorming creative ideas for their next projects. I also attended press screenings and helped out at other press events.
I worked at Waitrose as a Supervising Assistant, supporting management to deliver excellent customer service to produce the best shopping experience. My responsibilities ranged from ensuring customer service standards are maintained to an excellent standard, to providing clear direction to partners to ensure that the operation runs effectively. This role allowed me to develop my skills in customer service, team building and communication, whilst remaining confident in all situations.
